A man shot and killed a suspected intruder inside a home early Wednesday morning.

WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A man shot and killed a suspected intruder inside a home early Wednesday morning, according to Lt. Stapleton. 

The man shot the suspect at about 1 a.m. inside his home on State Route 128. There were other people with the suspect, but they fled the scene, Lt. Stapleton said. 

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Anyone with information should call police.
